How to Share Christ

​Hello! My name is ______. We are Christians and we are inviting the families of this community to our church. What is your name? Nice to meet you! Are you attending any church? Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, and I don't want to take all your time. One day a person explained to me how I could go to heaven, and it changed my life. That person told me that Jesus loves me and that He died for me to take me to Heaven. Jesus loves you too, and He died for you to take you to Heaven. Do you know if you died today (I hope not, I hope you live for a long time, but do you know if you died today), would you go to heaven?

The Bible says in I John 5:13, "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."

There are four things we must know to go to heaven.

​

​Number one – All the people in the world are sinners. Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." I am not perfect. I have sinned. Are you perfect, or have you sinned? Yes, all the people in the world are sinners. Apart from Jesus Christ, there is no exception.

​

Number two – There is a price for our sins. The Bible says in Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death." Death is not only physical death, but also a second death – in the lake of fire forever. The Bible says in Revelation 20:14, "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death." We don't like to think about that, but the price for my sins, and for your sins, is to go to hell.

Number three is very good news! The Bible says in Romans 5:8, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." In other words, Jesus died to forgive our sins to save us from hell and take us to heaven, and three days after His death, He rose again. Jesus Christ died on the cross to forgive all our sins and save us from hell.

John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

​​​Number four – The Bible says, "...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23b) Notice how you can receive eternal life  –  through  Christ  Jesus  our  Lord. It is not by joining a church, or by good works. These are good things, but they are not the way to Heaven. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Jesus is the only way to Heaven. Jesus died on the cross to give us eternal life; eternal life is free for you. You just need to accept Jesus Christ in your heart and put all your faith and trust in Him alone to go to Heaven.

​​​How many times was Jesus born on earth? (One time.) How many times did Jesus die? (One time.) How many times did Jesus rise from the dead? (One time.) So how many times do you need to invite Jesus Christ in your heart to go to heaven? (One time.)

​

Let's review. Do you understand that we are all sinners? (Yes.) Do you understand that the price for our sins is hell? (Yes.) Do you understand that Jesus died on the cross to save you from hell? (Yes.) Do you understand that the only way to heaven is to trust only in Jesus? (Yes.)

The Bible says, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13) Shall be saved! It is a promise of Jesus Christ! In other words, you won't go to hell forever, but you will go to Heaven forever. Can Jesus go to hell forever? No! He is in Heaven! And with Jesus Christ in your heart, where will it go when you die? Yes – to Heaven.

Jesus loves you and wants to receive you just as you are. So, you want to receive Jesus Christ to go to heaven, right?

Please, repeat this prayer, but the way to Heaven is not just prayer. It is trusting in Jesus Christ to save you. Repeat this prayer after me, please.

​

"Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. Please come into my heart, forgive me of all my sins, save me from hell, and take me to Heaven. I am trusting only in You, Jesus, for my salvation. Thank you, Jesus, for coming into my heart. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Did you sincerely trust in Jesus Christ and accept Him as his Savior? (Yes.) That's great! This is so important. Now, where did you invite Jesus Christ? Yes, in your heart. And for how long will Jesus be in your heart – for a day, or forever? Forever! So, if Jesus Christ is in your heart, and He is there forever, when you die, where will you go – to hell, or to Heaven? To Heaven! Can Jesus go to hell forever? No way! He is in Heaven! And you will go to Heaven forever also because Jesus Christ is in your heart.

How many times do you need to invite Jesus Christ into your heart? One time. Will Jesus ever leave your heart? No! Never! Jesus is there forever! So, if you were to die in ten years, where would you go – to hell or to Heaven? To Heaven! Why? Because Jesus is in your heart forever. Are you perfect today? No, but Jesus Christ died for all your sins, and He is in your heart forever.

Dear friend, the Bible says that once we ask Jesus to come into our hearts, He is in our hearts forever. He will never leave us or forsake us, and one day we will go to Heaven.  Jesus says in the Bible in John 6:47, "He that believeth on me hath everlasting life."
